KARI is an aspiring artist. She's 17 years old and lives in Canada. In a HOUSE, not an igloo. Her loves in life are Graphic Arts, Web Design and reading. She loves taking pictures, and always has her Nikon D3000 in her hand. Her love for music is obvious. She either had an iPod (with Rupert Grint on the back) in her hand, or she's sing out lyrics by Three Days Grace. Her other favourite bands include: Disturbed, Theory of a Deadman, 3 Doors Down, Enter Shikari, Breaking Benjamin and many others. She's in grade 12, and plans to attend the AIoV after she has completed high school to further her love of Graphic Design. She always has a smile on her face and is always laughing. She's got a witty sense of humour, is outgoing and fun to be around.


Hates: bad grammar, liars, copiers, rihanna, feet, serious & spazzy people.

Likes: orange crush, rocket popsicles, freezies, ketchip chips, manly facial stuble, english accents, Josh Duhamel, Shio LaBeuf, Brad Pitt. <3 --

school.

I’m so pumped! I’m taking graphic arts this semester and we’ve had some pretty boring assignments so far. I like that class but it’s super easy for me. We do really basic things and i’ve been doing this kind of stuff for years. So far we’ve: designed Terry Fox run posters, and did colour wheels on photoshop. We’ve only been in school a few weeks now. Anyway, we got an assignment to design and make the cover for our school year book this year. I’m super pumped, I have a few ideas in mind but the hard part is that you have to incorperate the school colours: red, black and gold. It’s not even a nice gold, it’s a puke-yellow-mustard-goldish colour. It’s going to be good because our past yearbooks have been ugly. What i’m more excited for!: -drumroll. In December we’re having a web design competition for the HSTP at my school. Which is History Study Tour Program. I already have the layout and whatnot in my head, and i’ve done a few rough sketches. 4 groups of people in my class will be making a website and the HSTP teacher will pick the best one, and they’ll be using it for the program next year. The winning group gets money. The best part about these two projects is that it will look really good when i’m applying to art schools in the very near future! Excitedd!
